Whole House Renovation
In this home the home owner wanted to open things up to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. They also wanted the kitchen to be much more open to the dining/living and even have a view of the lake. They did have a set of plans and as the eproject progressed we offered suggestions for concerns that came up. We removed the wall that separated the kitchen and dining room. We added 2-12ft. wide sliding, fullview, doors made by Andersen (all the glass has made a huge difference in their lake view and natural indoor lighting). Floor plan changes include moving the bathroom, laundry and reconfiguring the kitchen layout.Tile through out the living, dining, kitchen and hall. We made a all new bathroom with glass tile accents and a Frameless shower door. Then we updated the Master bath. On the lakeside deck we added Cedar posts and stairs made of Ipe (South American Iron wood- a excellent choice for a exterior location) black, wrought iron handrails accents this quite well.
