Addition/Remodel
The owners knew that they wanted to add on to there home (master bedroom, master bath, closets and a two car garage), our design team just helped them figure out the best way to do that. We wanted the addition to enhance the owners’ lifestyle and the make the most of what they already have so we wanted to consider:
1) View of the lake
2) Generous room sizes
3) Location of addition
4) Curb appeal
5) Quality building products
6) Expense
Now that we had a good plan, we were ready to proceed. Preliminary work would consist of: move electric meter, plumbing lines, telephone, TV. Since we would have to excavate about 9ft. below the existing foundation we proceeded carefully and took the time to make a good connection. We added a hall to connect to there existing stairs for easy access to there new two car garage on the lower floor. The owners especially like the changes that we made to the front porch; it adds the curb appeal they were wanting. We added a standing seam metal roof, replaced all the windows, a good insulation package and a mix of masonry (rock exterior) and Hardy board siding to the entire home This not only gives the home a new look but are long lasting features that help it perform well. Solid surface counter, custom cabinets, hardware, tile shower, tile floors with the unique light fixtures make this a very pleasant space. The master bedroom with the bamboo flooring and the generous size windows to view the lake makes for an interesting and relaxing room to be in.
